I need help! the customer asked for chocolate brown icing on the cake (not chocolate icing, just buttercream colored dark brown). I can't seem to make it dark enough, and black just makes it look greenish, any suggestions?? Thank you!
I had to make dk. chocolate brown fondant one time for a wedding cake and the same thing......they wanted it vanilla flavored! Anyhow, I used americolor gels...the chocolate brown, and just added a lot until it was the color I was after.......when you think it's almost as dark as you like it......let it sit for an hour or so and come back.
