Best Place To Buy Magic Line Pans, And Question Also....
Decorating By Callyssa Updated 20 Feb 2009 , 9:53pm by Callyssa
I'm ordering them for the first time and don't know where to get them! Is one place better than another?
Also, for fondant covered cakes is it okay to use the ML pans since they have such sharp edges, or should I use something like FD? Thank you SO much!!!
I bought my ML from www.intotheoven.com Best prices and best shipping I could find (to Canada anyway).
And I LOVE the sharp edges - fondant, buttercream etc but I guess it depends on the look you like.
Thanks! I'm bumping my own thread because I want to know how others feel about the sharp edges and fondant......so, bump-bump!!
I love my ML sheet pan. (only one I own right now). I bought it at amazon. It qualified for free shipping.
The wight of the fondant will 'pull' the edge down just enough that it will be slightly rounded OR you can use a knife to slightly cut off that sharpness.
I have covered many a cake w/fondant that had 'sharp' edges and didn't have a problem.
