I don' t know what is wrong with me on this one. I have a wedding cake to do for one of my, as I call them, "illegitimate kids I never knew I had". In other words friends of my kids that now call me "Mom". Anyways, He's geting married March 7th and wants me to do his wedding cake. They don't care what shape, flavor, design. ect. All they care about is it has to have soft pink on it as that is the color she is using. It only has to feed between 45-60, and I am not having any luck coming up with a design. Can someone PLEASE help me? Thanks for listening to me ramble but i am really stressing on this one. He's never had much in his life as far as his family goes so I want it to be really special for them.
Here are a few small cakes I have made. With a change of color one of them might be just right for your 'problem child'

Do you want the cake to be a soft pink or the decorations/accent pieces?
I found some lovely pink ones in the pink/red colour scheme in the gallery albums but I'm not sure if that is what they are wanting.
I forgot to ask:
1) What shape are you thinking of going with?
2) How many tiers?
3) Do you only want enough cake for the # of servings you quoted or are you considering using dummies to make it larger?
Here are just a few cakes:

For this one maybe you could use pink flowers in place of the red?

For this one maybe in the middle layer you could have something like love, happiness, marriage with some hearts or something like that:

There are so many on this site that I love it's hard to choose just a few to give. I didn't even search in the wedding/shower/anniversary categories yet. Let me know if you have something at all in mind and I'll see if I can help. Hopefully between kakeladi's cakes and the ones above it will help you get started.
