Is there any type of Ganache (whipped or not) that does not require refrigeration? Thank you for your help.
I've asked this in the past and have gotten mixed responses. Some say because of all the sugar, that it would be fine out of the fridge. I'm still not sure about that so I haven't made it yet. I'll see if I can find the post for you and send a link. If nothing else, this will bump you back up and maybe you will get a response that will actually help you.
You'll find a ganache frosting recipe that can be used at room temperature at http://www.delightful-cake-recipes.com/chocolate-ganache-frosting.html
The ganache is poured over the cake. Then the cake needs to be refrigerated for 2 hours before slicing/serving.
You'll only need to refrigerate a portion of this recipe if you plan to pipe a decoration onto the top of your cake. Instructions for how to assemble the cake is included at the weblink above.
I don't refrigerate ganache (well maybe the leftovers). It is fine at room temp for a couple of days
