So I'm on cake central and flickr and just searching local bakeries and my hubby got mad at me icon_sad.gif

Then he burst out and said, " Is your head filled with cake and dough and fondant?!?!?!"

OMG i don't know where the heck that came from but I couldn't stop laughing!! Good times!! I love my husband!

I just have to say that my husband is completely convinced i'm having an internet romance, even though i know every time he looks at the screen all he see's are cakes, or lil kid computer games, i think he thinks i just put up this screen as a clever disguise

i find this completely hysterical
although he has been much nicer to me lately, i mean just today he actually put his own dirty clothes in the hamper..
this has never happened before icon_biggrin.gif

apparently great cake and great people are not the only benefits of cc,
i wonder what he'll do next ..
omg he might wash a dish or two, i'd kill over if that happened!!!!

icon_lol.gif My husband is usally online but lately gets all pouty when I am on - he says "don't you want to spend more time with me"?

Having found CC and all the cool baker blogs has given me a fun and harmless hobby. It has pushed me to think about going to culinary school for pastry arts...

THANKS CC!

My DH said he wishes that I was having an affair instead of looking at cake stuff. Because then he wouldn't have to buy all my cake goodies icon_lol.gif

Too funny!!!
My son and I each had a laptop until recently when his developed the dreaded "blue screen of death", however before it stopped working he was always hogging the internet cable so I could never get on the net. And he would be on it every waking moment (when he wasn't sleeping or at school.)
Anyway now we are down to one computer between us and because it is my laptop he has to wait until I get off for him to use it. He actually said to me yesterday....."Mum its unhealthy that you are on the net all the time"........."all you are doing is looking at cakes"......????? And what is he looking at....Youtube....MSN Messanger ....Beebo.........And looking at cakes is unhealthy???????

We call it Cake Porn at my house too!

My hubby always says - what are doing, finding my replacement or looking at cake porn?

My hubby says my laptop is the best xmas pressie he ever bought me, it keeps me quiet and he can watch what he wants on the tele icon_lol.gif

I got this in an e mail today and thought it suited this subject icon_wink.gif

My Cleaning Poem

I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'computering',
And I had to answer 'yes.'

He told me to get off my Butt
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.

I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick....
I was just admiring my work...
I didn't mean to 'click.'

But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site.
That I got SO way into.
I was into it all night. <<Sigh>>

Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess...
While I sit here on my hiney!!

Thanks for the laughs ladies -

My DH walks down the Hall and pops his head in and asks -
"is everything alright down here love"?

Yes thanks Darl - HOPEFULLY i won't be on here toooooooooooooo much longer - its just that i am TRYING to find a SOMETHING .... icon_wink.gif

Three hours later i am still reading reading reading reading - icon_lol.gif
Then two hours later i am still looking looking looking looking at all the beautiful creations.

I turned grey when my DH asked so kindly infront of unexpected visitors -
"Do you want me to put the PLAYDOH away for you Darl or are you still decorating that cake?"

Visitor - YOU USE PLAYDOH !?!?!?!

Same trouble here. Every time my husband comes home and I'm on CC, I get the "you're addicted to cake and CC. Can the rest of us in this house get a little attention?"

Hmm...nope!

TOO FUNNY, I'm gonna have to tell my hubby that, because he always comes in to our home office and says "More Cake Stuff, don't you get tired of looking at it?" and my response is "I can't get enough of it!"

Of course he never complains when I ask him to taste test my cakes!! icon_wink.gif

Yep, Hubbies - we would be lost without them - even when they speak about Playdoh and i picture he health department storming in and taking away all my little shape cutters - rolling pin - containers of colours -
Ohhhh, yes i can see why he thought it was called playdoh - icon_lol.gificon_rolleyes.gif

Bless his cotton socks - i give him 10 out of 10 for at least helping me.
