Has anyone put flavored frosting on cinnamon rolls? I would appreciate some input on what flavors and recipe....PUH-LEEEEEZE!!!

I usually put cream cheese frosting on cinnamon rolls, but I have also made a maple-pecan glaze by heating up some maple syrup until it was reduced by 1/3 and mixing with toasted pecan halves.

Honestly?? I think it sounds like the cinnamon flavor would clash with the cherry flavor. Chocolate wouldnt be quite as bad, especially if you put a handful of mini chocolate chips in with your cinnamon filling, tying them together.

Cream Cheese icing can be flavored a million different ways; maple, bourbon, walnut, butter pecan, butterscotch, caramel...to name a few. Ask her about these flavors, maybe shell like one of them better...
