How do I make a white cake that is truly white. I have had white cake from bakeries, but when I make a white cake, without egg yolks, I dont get the white-white that Im looking for. Any suggestions.
use n egg yolks...and use milk insted of water helps...
What recipe are you using? Is there butter in it? That will make it off-white. What about flavoring? Real vanilla extract may also be causing it to be off-white. Try using the clear artificial stuff or almond extract instead.
