How far in advance can they be made? Wilton's wafers..and or..dipping chocolate OK?

Usually if they are *completely* covered w/choco they will be good for up to a week. After that they tend to pick up a dusty taste
I've used Wilton's wafers often. I prefer the dark choco - much better taste
