My husband's birthday is in June(turning 40!) when he turned 4 his mother either bought him or made him a huge 3d snoopy cake. all cake!! the dog was on top of the house. and the picture of the cake is a very small picture that I have. Also His mother passed when he was 14. but this was his favorite cake and the one he remembers most!! I would love to recreate it for him. but i have no idea how or where to start!!! HELP!!! I have looked and the cakes on the site and would love for you to respond on how the heck you made your wonderful creations!! I am fairly new to this. what kind of pan do i use or buy and what pan can i use to make the snoopy on top of it , just so that i can make it as close to his when he was little as possible. thanks and any info will truly be appreciated!!! Hi, do you want to do something like this?

If so, there is instructions on Debbie Browns " Favourite Charactor Cakes" book. Hope you can find it, if you can't let me know.

I'm gonna agree with bashini and say that getting the instructions from Debbie Brown's book will be the best way to go. The book is kind of hard to find (check ebay or abebooks.com) and sort of expensive. I have it but I don't have a scanner! Hopefully somebody else can be of some assistance...

Hi Londonpeach

not sure if you are still available but I am desperately also looking for the recipe and instructions for the 3D snoopy on his dog house cake. Is there any chance you could scan it in and email it to me too?

Thanks so much!

AThat is really unethical to scan pages out of books, or expect someone to do it for you. It is still widely available, the proper thing to do would be buy the book.

Hi

I'm sorry I do understand Anna, but it is not so easy to find this book in South Africa where I live. I have tried finding it and am desperate to bake it for my 1 year olds birthday.

How can anyone be desperate to make a snoopy cake?

I consider Debbie Brown to be the person to whom I owe my success in cake decorating. I see her as a mentor and inspiration.  As a matter of fact, I'll be seeing her at the end of August. When is your party?  If you want I'll see if she can mail you the book or knows a way you can get it.

No, Amazon doesn't ship to South Africa - they used to but they don't anymore.

I don't think Amazon UK or USA ship to SA.
