I hope its ok to jump on this thread, if not just ignore the question. icon_lol.gif But if you do a stencil how do you fill it in. is it with RI or do you paint it on?
Amifsud, if you dont mind sharing, how did you do your square cookies? They are just the BEST!

This website has videos on using cookie stencils- you can use food coloring and a stencil brush, or smooth RI on, then lift the stencil.

They are not always perfect like they show on the videos but are worth the effort if done right. I like to use the stencils on chocolate using cocoa butter to stencil. The food coloring on cookies is touch and scraping the RI into the details has not worked for me. If it's too thin, it runs under the stencil and if too thick, it does not get into the fine details.
I do however recommend trying them. It's definately different.
