I am making a cake for someone this week and I was wanting to do a wooden fence. Can anyone tell me how to make the fondant look more like a real fence by having a wood grain effect?

start with brown fondant, and then i would roll it into a sausage and put in more streaks of colours. roll/ knead it a tiny bit and it should look like wood!
