Question About Cookie Sticks...

I have never used cookie sticks before, I was hoping someone could tell me when I put them on the cookies and how, Thank you I am just making regular sugar cookies...

Some put them in before baking (I do), some immediately after baking when the cookie is still very soft, and some adhere it later with melted chocolate. I guess it's a preference thing - try a couple of ways and see which works best for you.

If I'm cooking just a few I put the stick before and If I'm cooking a lot a put them right after they are aout of the oven in that way I can save space in my trays.

Depends too on how thick your cookie is. The thicker the dough, the easier to insert before baking. I think that is the best way. They just look so much nicer. Unless you insert when fresh from the oven. I glued them on for a while and they just don't look pretty
