I've started a new business.... and my very first wedding tasting I've scheduled for sunday!
I will be hosting at my home and was hoping for some tips from you more experienced folks.
I definately plan on having the house absolutely spotless (the bf is out of town... which helps!), and setting up a table special.
Should I pair cake and frostings/fillings together?
Should I make a variety of cake flavors and allow the b&g to pair themselves?
Oh, and I'll be doing cupcakes

What I do is have each filling, and frosting in diffrent bags ready to put on top have them choose up to 3-4 cake flavors depending on how many servings or tiers. Then let them have fun mixing and matching so they get diffrent flavors. Be sure to sample some as well before hand to give them ideas what to try.. Then ask there favorites write them down on a contract or work sheet... good luck
