there was a recipe on here called "sarah's red velvet cake" does any one know what happened to it? does anyone have it that they could pm me? it used only oil, no butter.

it also had a recipe for "mary kay" icing listed underneath the cake part of it too.

TIA

Here is the link for Mary Kay's icing: http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-7376-0-Mary-Kay-Icing.html

And Sarah's Red Velvet: http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-7377-23-Sarahs-Red-Velvet-Cake-TWEAKED.html

I know it says "Tweaked" in the title, but I did a comparison to the original recipe that I have printed out and the only difference is the amount of food coloring. The original recipe calls for 2 oz (2 bottles liquid) red food color, the tweaked version calls for only 1 oz.

Oh, and I just read the "no butter, only oil" part of your post. The original Sarah's does use butter.
