Is there a tutorial somewhere or can somebody tell me how to make a gift box cake with the lid open? Or more specifically how to support the open lid. Do you just put dowels under the lid and cover them with the 'tissue paper' or is there a better way? I dont want it to collapse when we are transporting it to the party! I am hoping to do the lid out of cake as well. I really dont want to just do cardboard covered in fondant although I realize that would be easier to support.

Thanks for any help!!
