I am making a fondant figurine and would like to paint the features on. What should I use? Normally I would use luster dust and lemon extract but I'm not sure that I need the "luster". Any suggestions are greatly appreciated icon_lol.gif

I use my gel food coloring thinned with almond extract. It dries fast.

I've used gel colour with a few drops of vodka.

If you have powdered color it works the best dry brushed on, it has a softer look.

I use finely grated (food-grade) chalks and powdered colours, with vodka.

Paste colours mixed with a bit of vodka works great too! icon_biggrin.gif
