I love the beautiful zebra print cakes that I see in the gallery. One quick question - do you just free cut the zebra stripes or do you use a pattern?

I personally just free cut mine.

I free cut mine also. I would think it would be hard to use a pattern since you have to make it fit to the cake you are using. You could always get a piece of zebra scrapbook paper to look at as a guide if you are nervous about it.

I free handed mine. You can use a pizza cutter and just cut a few to get the hang of it. You'll realize how simple it is when you do it. Good luck!

I recently made a Cheetha girls cake and used prints I bought from my cake supply store which was printed on sugar paper, or cake art paper. Just peel and stick to buttercream. I believe for fondant a little piping gel helps it to stick.

Hope this helps.
