Just curious.....how many of you belong to a business group or organization? I belong to BNI (Business Networking International) a business networking/referral group. I've been a member since last June, and it really has paid off for me. I've gotten referrals from people I would never have had a chance to do buisness with.

Anyone else?

Joining BNI was the BEST investment I ever made! I probably got $10K in biz from this group the first year. I booked a $1000 catering thru them the first week I joined. Worth it, worth it, worth it!!!

I also belong to Rainmakers (another networking group), and belong to two Chambers of Commerce.

Oh, and ICES.

Once I graduate and get my free time back....networking groups are on my to do list.

I used to do Meetup a few years back (free) and that helped also. I still keep in touch with folks from there.
