I am new to cake decorating. I have taken the Wilton courses locally. Occasionally I get emails from Cakes Made Easy. I was just wondering if anyone else has bought the ebooks from them for $60.00 and if so was it at all helpful to you. Thanks in advance.

I have never heard of them either - sorry. Not sure what all is offered, but $60 seems pretty high to me.

I have never heard of them either, but from the sounds of it it really sounds like it is full of a LOT of info you can get right here at CC for free.

Cake made easy is one of the yummy arts series. It's okay but really Cake Central can help you just as much for a fraction of the price (aka FREE!!) Just something to think about. icon_biggrin.gif

I've heard of Cakes Made Easy but never purchased. You really can learn most anything here on CC. What do you need to know?

You might try pm'ing these folks and see what they say. They seem to be pretty happy with what they have learned.

Thanks everyone for the information. I took the classes but we did not get to cover every flower. I am a visual person and I would like to be able to make my own flowers. I think Orchid, and Lillies are beautiful. I would like to know how to put the flowers on the wire. Thanks again.

If you're a visual person it would be money well spent. I don't know if thye cover all the flowers but cake genie has videos and buttercream flowers that are very good. http://www.cakegenie.com/
