can you put fondant over whipped ganache. I iced a cake with whipped chocolate ganach. i then covered with Red Satin ice and when i got up the next morinig the fondant had slide off of the cake and seemed to dissolve. never tried ganache before.....any suggestions

No, you can't put fondant on whipped ganache. It has to be a firmer ganache, similar in texture to a chocolate truffle. I use a proportion of 16 oz. choc to 8 oz cream for my ganache. It sets up quite hard and gives you super sharp edges on your fondant.
