I am doing two layer shower cake...brides colors are black arttendant dresses with fuschia bows and lime green color as well. How can I incorporate that into a two layer cake...I was thinking white cake, black ribbon at base of two tiers...can you suggest something elegant....I am a beginner.

You say '2 layer' do you mean 2 tiered?
A layer of cake is usually 1 1/2 to 2" deep.
A tier is usually two 2" layers put together w/filling between them.

Making fondant dress bows isn't all that hard. Why not make one fuchsia and one lime green. With the black it will be very striking and elegant.

yes I meant two tier...would be rather small using 2 layers now wouldn't eat...(lol)...yes I was thinking of two tiers in white buttecream with black ribbon around bottom of each tier....they incorporating the lime and fushia somehow.
