hi all, i need help! So i bake my cake comes out even and all i go tort it then as i go to stack it on one another it cracks n almost breaks.

of course this is just squared n sheet cakes...what am i doing wrong

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can piece the two pieces together w/icing and it should be fine.
It happens when you don't put any support under bigger cakes.
Cover a cake board the same size as the cake w/Contac Paper completely so it can be washed off and use it for support when you torte cakes.
Did you let the cake cool before handling it?
Until you get used to handling those thinner pieces it helps if you put it in the frig after it has come to room temp. A cold cake handles easiericon_smile.gif
