I was wondering ...IYHO which pan would be best to make this Figure into a 3D Cake ?

I have a doll mold pan at hand but i was thinking about a 3D Egg Pan as well . But I'm stuck ..

Would really appreciate the help .

If you have the egg (or have other uses for it), I would use that. If not, start with the doll and carve!

I would definitely use the egg pan. I think it would give the best stability. Are you making the head out of rice krispies? I think it would make it a little lighter than an all fondant /gumpaste mix, then you can dowel it into the rest of the cake.

You are making me want to do a dragon cake now!! lol

Good luck; I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Yes I am making the head out of RK. I guess i need to go out and get myself a 3D egg pan then .

That was my initial thought on what to use ...but wanted to make sure .
