Does anyone have a good method for putting a realistic texture on a sports ball? Especially football!

I would use a papertowel. I found this out by mistake when I ran out of Viva Paper towels and I used a regular paper towel. It leaves a texture almost cloth like. I think it would work good for a ball.

I use a walmart brand papertowel for ball texture... I pull them apart, they are 2 ply and the inner part is more bumpy.
works well for me![/list]

I just loaded a basketball cake in my photo's....check it out. I have done the same for a football.
