Specifically the bright vibrant purple? I want to make cupcakes with the bright purple, green, and yellow swirls. Any tips on getting 'ka-pow!' colors?

Americolor brand....their colours are so much more vibrant and true than other pastes/gels on the market.

I second the vote for the Americolor brand - I'll never go back to Wilton!
I have my Mardi Grad colors all ready for an anniversary Mardi Gras cake - they had a MG themed wedding.

I have some of the Americolor's neon shades, what specific shades do you all recommend?

The neon shades are not right for Mardi Gras.

I would use, Lemon Yellow, Regal Purple, and mix 1/2 Forest and 1/2 Leaf Green together for the green.
