Hello. I have a request for a gradutaion party in a few monh. The lady want a cake shaped like Tigger. Im not sure where to start with making the cake stand up as a 3D cake but i have a few options:

A. Make the body cake only using the wonder mold pan and the head, arms, feet and tail from gumpaste only and attach?

B. Use the Bear pan and go from there

Im not really sure so I need help and any advice you can give e will be greatly appreciated

His body is long and skinny ...I would actually use rounds, and carve the arms and torso out of those. Use RKT for the feet and part of the legs.... and RKT for the head..the head and part of the neck should be well doweled/skewered into the body, possibly with a dowel attached all the way down to the board if possible.

Don't forget if its a big cake you'll want a board support at least halfway up.

Good luck!
