I am making clay roses for the first time and I would like to know if they harden like gumpaste roses. I heard that they harden after a few days and that they can be made well ahead of time, but when you cut your cake can you eat them or are the too hard to chew? I am putting them on a chocolate cake and taking it to the states to family. How do you store clay roses?
Thanks for your help. Everyone on here is alway up with knowing how to do or make your cakes look and taste good. I love this site and all the help you get and everything that you learn on here.
Thanks Sue

They will harden but you won't crack a tooth on them, they remain kind of pliable so you can bite into it easily icon_biggrin.gif
