I have salted butter but not unsalted.. I usually always use salted butter for recipes and still use salt. Is that okay with this recipe?...

I've used salted butter and then left out the salt in the recipe. It was fine.

I only buy and use salted butter. I add the salt per the recipe and I think they always turn out great.

I always use unsalted, but I doubt it matters that much.

Agree. It may be just a matter of personal taste.

I omit salt in ALL dessert/sweets recipes. (I dont' salt a brownie when I'm eating it ... I'm not salting it before I bake it.)

I did use salted butter and the salt the recipe called for. I thought the cookies came out nicely. But will try again without salt, might be more on the sweet side.
