Does anyone know where I can find a list of states that license home bakers? I had this link saved, but when I click it it says that post doesn't exist.

My husband in newly laid off and there's not many jobs in my state. Unemployment compensation is a joke and a nightmare.

We don't want to relocate, because all of our family is here, including elderly parents. If he doesn't find employment here, we will relocate to another state. I am just wondering which states license home bakers. I'd like to consider relocating to those states first. That way I can make money without a lot of overhead, until I can set up a commercial kitchen.

I do know that Ohio licenses home bakers through its cottage food law.

The first thread on the index in this forum has a list. What state are you in now? If you let us know where you are I'm sure there are people from that state who can tell you.
