I am making my dads 80th b-day cake and after reading all the posts I found on the subject I went to Smart and Final to get some Pastry Pride and to my surprise they had 4 variations of the stuff.

Pastry Pride
Pastry Pride Premire
Frostin Pride
Chocolate Buttercream, not sure of the brand

What is the difference between all of these? Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Frostin Pride is what you wanticon_smile.gif
Pastry Pride was never designed to be used as an icing on cakes where Frostin Pride is.
I don't know about Pastry Pride Premire. It must be new since I used the products.
Choco Buttercream - again it's hard to know what this is.
It could be Rich's (brand) B*e*ttercreme........a product similar to Pastry Pride.

Frostin Pride does (or did) come in chocolate....it's to die foricon_smile.gif
