So im making a few cakes for my church's get together at the end of this month. The thing is, the coordinator told me that they set everything up the night before and leave it there all night. So my question is, will crusting buttercream be ok all night? Im guessing it will be covered...and she said they keep it pretty cool in that building. What do you think?

I always do my cakes the night before I need and put in our library, the coolest room in our house.
I use fillings that don't have to be refrigerated.

Wellllllll it depends on the b'cream recipe you are using
But for the most part b'cream is just fine left overnight. If it wasn't those who make wedding cakes would never be able to get done what they do in b'cream.
