I have a request for a yellow cake with white icing - no flavors, no filling - just "yellow cake with white icing. " I would love suggestions on what recipes to use. This is for Tuesday, so I have about five days to decide.

Thank you, danzergurl. I have made lots of cakes ... I just haven't ever had anyone ask for yellow cake with white icing. Actually she said "JUST yellow cake with white icing." I don't know I have ever made a yellow cake. I usually do White Chocolate Butter if I am doing a "plain" cake.
