Just wanted to share a great opportunity. I have been wanting to add a separate kitchen on my property for baking and catering, but found out from HD I would have to have a separate commercial sewer system. That is out of the question.

So...a friend of mine owns a building in town that is in need of lots of remodeling which they are going to do anyway. She is offering me the use of her building if we can get HD approval. So I am going to call them today and see if we can get the ball rolling. I would appreciate your prayers for me today because this is an unexpectec opportunity that came my way.

Thanks everybody!! I am meeting with the inspector in the morning to look at the building. As I said, it needs lots of work, so it will be months before I can get in there, but I am very excited!

I will let you all know how the meeting goes.

My meeting went well with the HD. He says it is definitely do-able. He advised me to contact the fire marshal, which i was hoping to avoid since this is going to be mainly delivery. They have a whole new set of regulations that have nothing to do with food service. I am hoping that by limiting public access to my business I can get by without doing a lot of extra stuff.
