Hey everyone,
I'm doing a wedding cake in late February the bride wants the cakes on a floating heart cake stand but I can't find one anywhere. I did see one online but it was over $70. which seems pretty high.

Thanks for your help... icon_biggrin.gif

There was one at Michael's here a few weeks ago. I wonder if they have it where you live and could use the coupon. I honestly don't know the cost of it but I wouldn't think it would be that much. Did you check the Wilton on line thing or Ebay?

They have some on ebay, but they are also over $70.

This one was a little less, but it looks like that is about the price range.

I would suggest building the price of the stand into the price of the cake, since you are purchasing this specifically for this client. Or have the client purcahse it herself.

I know that you are looking for reasonably priced stand. But I thought I would mention His Design anyway. I have 2 sets from them and the quality is fantastic! Plus with the odd shapes (heart included) they are reversible. So, 2 sets for the price of one.

Also, I previously purchased a wilton / Michael's type floating stand and it was so flimsy that I was afraid to use it. I had thought the weight of the cake would make it more sturdy, but I was wrong.
