Dear CCers.

Some time ago I saw this amazing beautiful cake some talented decorator did and I hope you could help find it.
Im trying to replicate the spatula marks (with the original decorated permission of course).

The cake had a two-tier (I think); it was completely white with white roses on top and between the tiers.
It was covered in butter cream with some vertical spatula marks, each tier looked very tall, probably 6 high and they were also tapered.

Please help me find it, Ive looked everywhere without success and Im starting to think that maybe I dreamed about it and it never existed!

I looked and couldn't find it. Was it round, square? Was it a wedding cake, baptisim cake?

You can try this thread. It has the spatula marks, but no cakes with white roses like you described. Maybe it will help you though.

I swear I saw a white cake with red roses in the Victoria Magazine cake book. It was tiered had wide-ish vertical spatula swipes. The book is at home, if I am right I'll see if I can remember to bring it to work and scan it.

I know exactly which one you're talking about too. I thought I had saved it to favs but can't find it... I'll try and find it.
