I tried Creme Bouquet and a Princess Emulsion over the weekend for a white wedding cake and a strawberry cake. I also used vanilla. Was I suppose to use both? The recipie called for Almond, but there was a nut allergy, so I wanted to try something different. I thought the cakes tasted a little too citrus. Has anyone had experience with these?
I use the creme bouquet and I love it, but just cut back on it a little. It is a little strong. I also use vanilla and butter flavoring with it. I use 1 1/2 tsp of cb and 2 tsp of van and butter in my recipe.
I use the creme bouquet with butter flavoring. Nice mix and the creme bouquet doesn't overpower.
