thanks! This is the biggest cake I have ever made.
If you are using my *original* recipe (& I remember those sizes right) you will need:
16" sq = 2
12" = 1
4" sq = part of 1
Remember for a wedding cake you will need to bake 2 of each size for a 4" tall tier.
16" sq will need

I mostly remember rounds and I know each sq uses 1/2 recipe more.
As I remember a 16 *round* used 2 recipes; a 12 would use 1. I haven't make a 4 but it can't be more than a cup or two.
So I'm guessing on the sqs. It wouldn't hurt to make up a full recipe for the 4 and add the remainder to the other two pans.
