I want to make some candy clay monkey's to put on my daughters 1st birthday cake. Awhile bake a few of you helped me with the recipe and design. Can't remember who icon_sad.gif sorry! Anyway, I have been practicing with Sculpey. I want to make these ahead of time out of the candy clay, a week or two. So.. those who have done these monkeys draping over sides of cake-how do I do it since I want to make them ahead? Any tips? Do I make them and dry them like I want on the cake pan? Do they dry hard? Thanks for all help! icon_biggrin.gif Jonna

You can make them ahead of time. Your idea of using the edge of a cake pan is exactly right. They will harden so long as they are kept away from heat.

Post a picture when your done!
