I noticed that the cardboard from the top layer discolored the layer underneath ... I'm wondering if it was because of the type of fondant that I used ... It was Michelle Foster's fondant ... and the fondant came out too soft ... But I'm wondering even with store bought fondant has anyone experienced this ???
Any help would be greatly appreciated icon_wink.gif

I use Michelle Foster's also. However, I always cover my cardboard rounds with saran. I've never had a problem, so you might try that?

I do the exact same thing as Maggie. I cover my boards with saran, and also use MF's fondant.
