I bought the butter rum and butterscotch flavor oils, I would like to make some cuppies with a buttercream based icing. Does anyone have any recipes for either of these flavors? I really want to try them today, but not quite sure what to do with them, I prefer using box cake mix and doctoring it

You really don't need any particular recipe, just add them to your favorite cake recipe for something special. At least, that's what I do. Sometimes I add the flavored oil to the batter, other times I just add it to the buttercream.

Yea thats what I thought, I was just wondering if anyone had any different exotic recipes. I ended up doing what you said though
