Is there any tutorials or pics on how to make a fondant or gumpaste figurine? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Under the Articles tab there is one for making Fondant Fairies...that one might give you a starting point. HTH.

aine2 has some tutorials on youtube they are figures. toedna has tutorial on some flowers. You can also use polymerclay books for figures.

Lorraine's figure tutotials are worth their weight in gold. You can adapt the basic techniques to suit your own flair too and they are in expensive to boot. You can check out youtube too and she has some free tutorials there as well, but not the figures.
