Im home, sick so my dear husband went to the store to
get some flour and other things on the list.He came back
with a 25 pounds of flour in a fabric sack.(reminds me of my
grandmothers time) Can that be used to make cakes from
scratch?? The label on it says "Lapina Flour-Bleached and
Enriched Flour" in small print "Great for making tortillas"
Or is it to dense for cakes? Beautiful fabric of cherries &
strawberries though..lol. 5 things on the list..he comes
home with 12! icon_smile.gif

Thanks in advance!

As long as the recipe calls for All-purpose flour, this will probably be okay, based on the product desc. I looked up online. I wouldn't use it for recipes that call for cake flour.

Sorry, I just HAVE to ask.

The 12 items he bought-did they include all five items on the original list?
I think you are ahead of the game if they did. The usual DH MO is 12 items with only 3 of the 5 on the list!

Lol! Well close.I write down baking powder..he gets baking soda.
Chicken thighs..chicken wings. He says "Well love..its about the
same thing!" icon_smile.gif The other things he gets are not what we really
need unless there is a family party/bbq etc.Like in bulk mayonaise,
pickles,mustard etc.
