My son's birthday is coming up and he always likes the confetti cakes or cherry chip cakes that my grandmother uses. Is it possible to switch out those mixes in place of the white cake mixes for the WASC?

Any help would be appreciated!

And if you can't, is there a similar recipe on here that I could use with the confetti mixes?

Thanks in advance!

I am sure it would be fine. You can use most cake mixes for this recipe. I have switched it out with many different flavors and it has always come out great! I don't think the confetti would be any different! Hope that helps a little! icon_biggrin.gif

It works just fine, I have used it before for WASC.

Also if you happen to do the cherry chip, my DS LOVES it when I chop up maraschino cherries really small and add them to the WASC batter instead of using the cherry chip mix. He says its 'just the right amount of cherry.'
