Hello!!

I know somewhere I have seen a color chart, but for the life of me, I cannot find it here. I need to acheive a watermelon color for a wedding cake. Does anyone know what the color mixture would be?? I would like to use americolor gels. Thanks!

Okay, I just looked on the charts I got from here, and for Americolor I couldn't find a watermelon color, but they do have a coral color; I think you could adjust the pink to get it more 'watermelon-y', or even add a bit of red. It is 3 parts Rose Pink and 2 parts Lemon Yellow.

Chefmaster mixing chart: Melon color is 1 part Orange and 3 parts Bakers Rose.

Sorry I couldn't help more; I'm one that throws a little of this, a lot of that, a little more of the next color, etc. to get what I want. Most times it works, other times.....ends up being a nice murky funky green, but I can always use it for leaves!
