Hi everyone!
I had just purchased silicone baking pans, and have never used them before. Is there any special instruction on using those? Do I grease them the same as I would for my regular metal pans? Do they actually live up to their standards as being great for baking with?
Thanks,
Kimzie

You mean those flexible baking pans?

I lightly spray before baking. I like them to work with, it's nice that you can use them for other than just baking.

I recommend putting the silicone bakeware on a cookie sheet though for easier removal from the oven. It may increase the baking time a little.

Hi leahs,
Yes they're those flexible baking pans. Got them on sale icon_smile.gif So wanted to try them out and try to compare them to my metal pans.

Hi Suela,
Thank you for the advise on using those. I will diffinatly put them on a cookie sheet while baking (makes sense, they are flexible, lol). Can I also just grease them with shortening and lightly flour them?? I use that method which works for me when I use my metal pans. icon_smile.gif
