I have somehow volunteered myself to decorate Valentine's Day cookies with residents of an assisted living center. I plan to bake some heart shaped cookies at home and bring them with all the fixin's to the center. I would love to hear if anyone has any ideas for some easy decorations.
Thanks in advance!

Simple buttercream... easy for them to spread! And sprinkles, and colored sugars

Toba's Glace in white, pink, and red. Put it in squeeze bottles for easier application. Show them how to ice the cookie in one color, add lines of the other colors, and swirl them together with a toothpick for that "tye dye" look. Quick, easy, no right or wrong, and a very pretty end result.

And I also agree with the other posters...you can never go wrong with sprinkles!

Thanks so much for the ideas... I like the idea of taking the squeeze bottles with me. No so messy. Then swirling and sprinkles. They'll love it. Let the sugar fly!!!
