Candy Barrel Variations?

I am thinking about making a kit kat candy barrel cake, but i want to do something different than the standard M&M's on the top. Any suggestions??

Reese's pieces or malted milk balls? You could even crush up a candy bar (like butterfinger) and put it on top.

shaved chocolate maybe.. do a white and milk and dark??

they have mini kisses now, they resemble m&m's but shaped like kisses

mix dark chocolate, white and milk chocloate chips.
cho dipped strawberries
non parrels, chocloate or the pastel ones
mini mint melt aways
jr mints
gummies or skittles...but this would not be my first choice...

If you don't want to go the candy route, how about buttercream (or fondant) flowers? I think this would be very pretty.
