I know thta there have been many posts regarding this subject, but I really have no idea what to charge for this cake. I found one local bakery that charges a base fee of 25$ for a sculpted/3D cake plus 3$ a serving (what? are they crazy!?). I figure that my cake is at least 25 sevrings making that about 100$ based on that bakeries fee. However, I don't think their cakes are covered in fondant, whereas mine is. Also, these are gourmet flavours, not your average white or chocolate cake. I figured that my ingrediants cost anout 60$. This was for a co-worker, so I don't want to overcharge, but I don't want to undercut myself either. There was also another cake I made to serve about 20. Any suggestions, please??
