I need to use my airbrushing machine and realized I'm out of cleaning solution. Is there anything else I can use to clean it?

TIA

I'll admit it, I don't clean the airbrush the right way. I just run the gun part under running water, then fill the cup up with water and spray it out until it runs clean. It works fine, so try that...I'll occasionally run some official cleaner through it, but that stuff smells so nasty I tend to avoid taking it out!

On my badger video he used water to clean between colors.

My instructor, years ago when I learned airbrush, put a drop of soap into a large glass of water and used it for cleaning.

I myself keep a bit like that in a squeeze bottle for the end of the day cleanup.

I do the same with warm water. I will use the actual cleaner sometimes with the luster dusts but for the most part I use the water. The cleaner reminds me of Windex and it actually makes me cough when I use it! So I try to steer clear of it!
