Hats off to both ladies who took the challenge and were our first 2009 Throwndowners. Wonderful job ladies!!! This is a very close throwdown in the voting.

We have a WINNER!!! Congratulations Robyn (Sugar Wishes) for your victory. And thanks Dara (dmich) for participating and giving Robyn and run for her money! You both did a great job decorating your cakes.

WOW I can't believe I won!!! It was such a close race. Dmich, your cake is amazing, I can't get over those birds, they look so hard! and all of those flowers must have taken forever.

Robyn, congratulations!!! I thoroughly enjoyed competing in this throwdown with you. Your cake was absolutely amazing - so many beautiful details and really clean work.
